If you are a parent, child care provider, center staff member,
grandparent, or anyone interested in the well-being of children,
please join us for a discussion about the impact current legislation
may have upon you and your children.

The Minnesota legislature has spent millions of dollars to revise our
state laws to comply with federal mandates. What mandates?

Federal and state legislation have several components, one of which
is T.E.A.C.H. (Teacher Education and Compensation Helps).

Thursday, April 18th
7:30 p.m.

Michael Chapman
"Guinea Pig Kids"

Way of the Cross Church/Northside Christian School
804 131st Avenue N.E.

Using state and federal documentation, Michael J. Chapman, a historian
and education researcher, will explain how education is being
transformed away from a broad-based academic foundation, towards
work-based training that turns our schools into a "Human Supply Chain"
under a centrally planned economy.

Mr. Chapman's presentation will help citizens understand the philosophy
behind Minnesota's Profile of Learning and School-to-Work system, how
these laws will affect ALL citizens from "cradle to grave" and how the
current education law actually forces every classroom to adhere to the
system. He will also offer solutions.
