Carol White is a community activist in Minneapolis who has served in a variety of positions for almost 50 years. She is an elementary teacher in the Minneapolis Public School District. She has served as Middle School Coordinator at a K-8 school, and worked for Hennepin County as a Social Worker and a Special Program Counselor. Ms. White was elected to the Minneapolis School Board, and she has served on numerous other boards. She worked for the YWCA as Assistant Director and as a Career Development Coordinator. She has worked at the University of Minnesota as an Activities Director and Counselor/ Instructor in The General College Education Career Development.
Carol is the President of African Americans Acting Together (AACT) and heads up the group, Parents Speak Out.
